The PAC man arcade game app review for the iphone
There are a number of PAC man apps available for download. I liked the PAC man app made by Namco. This is the one that best simulated the old original arcade game that was installed in most pubs, clubs and seaside piers in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They even have the old soundtrack to add the correct atmosphere.

You have a left right up down navigation joystick at the bottom of the screen to control your chomping character around the onscreen maze. You have to avoid the pursing four chasing ghosts otherwise it is game over if thy touch your character. When you eat the flashing larger circle for a few seconds the four ghost turn blue and you can capture them. Be careful you are not too close when they turn back to their normal colour as they will then resume their attack on you.

In the options menu you can change the controls to tilt and turn (Accelerometer mode) or Swipe Mode to direct your chomping character by using your finger. Personally I prefer the on screen joystick (D-Pad Mode) as it is more responsive.
