Have you ever wanted to race a high-powered Italian Ferrari through the streets of Paris well here is your chance. The Ferrari GT Evolution racing game app is one of my favourite racing games because of the beautiful graphics. You drive down the Champs-Elysees, through the Princes Diana Tunnel, past the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. I feel like I am back on holiday. You start with the Ferrari 430 with a V8 4307cc engine that can do 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 315 km/h. You can change the colour of the care from red to yellow, blue, or white but I think Ferrari cars should be red.

If you click the Ferrari GT Evolution racing game options button you can change the master volume as well as mix the amount of music and special effects volume. In the control section you can choose to drive your car using the iphone as a steering wheel, by tapping the screen or by an on screen racing steering wheel. The wheel control I feet was too small to use comfortably and it’s positioned awkwardly to the left side of the screen.

You can choose to use manual acceleration or let the iphone automatically control acceleration for you. If you want more control over your car you can turn the dynamic setting off and adjust the adaptive steering, electronic stability, anti lock braking traction control and the ceramic brakes.

On the full version there are 33 different Ferraris, 8 tracks,3 difficulty modes. Difficulty also varies according to track be it Rome, Fiorano, Italy, Berlin, New York City, Athens and others. With Ferrari GT Evolution you can choose between portrait and landscape modes.
