The classic snake game is back but this time is a game app for the iPhone. The graphics are much improved. Snake XT game app for the iphone has two game play modes. The Arcade mode has seven worlds divided into twenty eight levels. The idea of the game is to guide your snake to collect all the pellets and make it evolve into a more longer and more menacing snake. You have to be careful not to bump into any obstacles or the edge of the screen. As you slither your way through the levels your speed increases and so does the number of obstacles for you to avoid. You control the snake by tapping on the screen where you want the snake to go.

In the Challenge mode there are two modes of difficulty. The beginner mode is not very different from the arcade mode in terms of points and speed, but the legendary mode is quicker. Just as there are obstacles to avoid, there are bonuses to collect. If your snake manages to eat a ladybird (lady bug) it will make your snake move faster. If your snake manages to move over the shield icon the shield protects it from hitting one obstacle. If your snake eats a frog you get a bonus life. The leprechaun is the best as you get a bumper bonus hit. But beware of the skull, for a single brush with it takes away a life.
